Concept Black Architects is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to contribute to a range of corporate, commercial, workplace, and residential projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the design and documentation process, and be proficient in Revit and Enscape for conceptualisation, modelling, and rendering.

Key Responsibilities & Involvements

• Participate in all stages of the design process, from schematic to concept design, using Revit and Enscape to develop custom assets and branding elements that enhance project outcome.
• Ensure creativity, functionality, and alignment with the project brief, budget, and timeline.
• Prepare and coordinate furniture, finishes, fixtures, and fittings (FF&E) selections, including detailed working schedules.
• Participate with the documentation process, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with design and statutory requirements.
• Maintain an active awareness of all aspects influencing the design and production of project deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering and architectural solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and day to day running of the project.

What We’re Looking For

• Confident interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clean, professional presentation (in person and written).
• Commercial, workplace, retail or residential project.
• People skill, sensitivity in approaching new clients and understanding their needs.
• Experience or background from design firm but looking for more project construction to completion.

What We Offer

Most of our projects involve team participation from design through to completion. It’s a fast-paced process, but you’ll have the opportunity to see your designs realised, gain first-hand experience during construction, participate at lessons learnt session with wider project team / stakeholder and receive direct feedback from clients.
